In November the club completed their first sponsored event in a number of years! Our aim was for the recreational and advanced class members to collectively perform as many Star jumps as they could so we got to Santa’s Grotto and back to the gym in time for Christmas. Each gymnast had one minute to help us get to a target of 7230.  This was the amount of kilometres it would be!!

That target was easy for the club as we actually completed 43 thousand!!!!!! – GREAT GREAT BOUNCING EVERYONE!!!

Our competition squad had the task of completing giants around a bar for their attempt to get to Lapland and back!! Some of the youngest girls and boys, who are only aged 6, completed this with a little help from our coaching elves.

This is Frank Baines showing us how its done!!

In October the club had their first Halloween Party which was a huge success!! Children enjoyed 2 hours of games, gymnastics, party food and were also entertained by an amazing Magician. A thoroughly spookastic event!

We also secured a bag packing event in Tesco, Southport.  Parents, Gymnasts and cheerleaders manned the tills and teddy tombola all day long.  We were even joined by our own Dan Purvis after he’d finished training.

In November we have a sponsored star jump to look forward to and then our extravaganza Christmas display in December.
